For about a month Nancy has told me to plan on not working this week as we were going on a 51st Anniversary trip.  She refused to divulge any information about the trip.  I’m just going a long for the ride.  We were supposed to leave today but Bree, our rescue German Shepherd, spent most of yesterday at the vet.  She has not eaten in the last few days and has gotten sick 2 or 3 times.  We picked her up from the vet Monday night after work and decided to make sure she was stable before leaving.  Andrew, our eldest grandson, will be taking care of Bree and Ashes while we are out of town.  Bree did great today so we feel good about leaving her.
